About Therapeutic Wellness Services

Treating the Whole Person, Not Just the Symptoms.

At Therapeutic Wellness Services, we believe meaningful care begins with seeing the person behind the diagnosis. We provide comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment that considers the many parts of life that can affect health, recovery, and stability.

Our goal is to create a place where children, adults, and families feel seen, heard, and supported while receiving care that is warm, honest and clinically sound.

OUR STORY

Built on Compassion.
Grounded in Experience.

Therapeutic Wellness Services grew from a firsthand understanding that behavioral health challenges rarely exist in isolation. Through her experience as a foster parent, our founder saw how mental health needs can affect not only a child, but also caregivers, families, schools and the larger support system surrounding them.

That experience helped shape a different vision for care: one where people would not have to navigate a disconnected system alone or be reduced to a diagnosis. Therapeutic Wellness was created to bring multiple forms of support together and help individuals and families access the care they need at different stages of life and recovery.

Today, we provide mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation, substance use treatment and residential support with the same guiding belief: understand the whole person, meet them where they are and help them move toward greater health and stability.

Our Mission

To provide comprehensive, clinically sound mental health and addiction services that treat the whole person, strengthen families, and help individuals build healthier, more stable lives.

Our Vision

We envision communities where children, adults, and families can access the behavioral healthcare and practical support they need without judgment, unnecessary barriers, or fragmented care.Where every person has the opportunity to move toward recovery, independence, and lasting well-being.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Care Should Fit the Person, Not the Other Way Around.

No two people arrive at care with the same experiences, challenges, or goals. We listen first, look at the full picture and help determine the services and level of support that make sense for each individual.

Our approach recognizes that mental health, substance use, housing, relationships, daily living and community connection can all influence one another. By bringing multiple levels of care together, we can support people as their needs change rather than expecting them to navigate every transition on their own.

Our Values

What Guides Our Work

Authenticity

We show up honestly and build relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and respect.

Compassion

We want every person who comes to Therapeutic Wellness to know that they matter and that their goals, experiences and concerns are worth hearing.

Kindness

Clinical care can be professional without feeling impersonal. We work to create an environment where people feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable asking for help.

Hope

We believe change is possible. Wherever someone is starting from, there can be a meaningful next step.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Supporting Health Beyond the Treatment Center.

Healing and stability are influenced by more than appointments alone. Through community support initiatives, recovery activities and connections to practical resources, we work to address needs that can affect a person’s ability to move forward.

Through T.W.S. Community Outreach, our nonprofit community initiative, we extend this commitment beyond our clinical services by providing outreach, support, and resources to individuals and families throughout the community.

Our commitment extends to the individuals, families, referral partners, and communities we serve throughout Baltimore. As Therapeutic Wellness grows, we remain focused on expanding access while preserving the personal, whole-person approach at the heart of our work.
